North Walsham & District Round Table
Round Table is a lot of fun for it members, and in having fun, we benefit the local community, by raising charitable funds, and distributing them to local good causes.
We meet twice per month, and our home is the Manor Hotel, Mundesley, where we have dinner meetings with a guest speaker, or just deal with Table business with a large helping of banter and humour.
Frequently we have outings, and participate in activities such as go carting, abseiling, Quasar, paint balling.... the list is endless.
Round Table is an excellent way to meet and have fun with other like minded members of our community. There are many benefits to becoming a member. It is an enjoyable way to try new activities, make friends and new business contacts, improve leadership skills, and give you public speaking confidence.
Our fund raising activities raise several thousand pounds per year, and consist of a very popular Antiques Fair held at the Community Centre during the August Bank Holiday weekend, serving mulled wine at the town Christmas Lights switch-on in early December, and a Santa Sleigh handing out sweets and collecting donations. For next year we are planning a black tie boxing night to further boost our funds.
