NORTH WALSHAM FARMERS’ MARKET

Over the past few years, farmers’ markets have blossomed in all corners of the United Kingdom.

Here in North Walsham we believe passionately in the value of locally produced goods and feel that selling locally produced foods direct to the customer has to be the best way, both in terms of freshness and in reducing food miles to an absolute minimum.

At this market we ensure that all goods on sale are produced within 30 miles of North Walsham with priority for stalls being given to those nearest to the town.

You won’t find lemons at this market but you will find the best that this part of Norfolk has to offer ranging from seasonal fruit and vegetables, plants, free-range eggs, honey and other products from the hive, home-made cakes, jams, pies and much, much more.  And yes, when in season we have locally grown kiwi fruits on sale!

The market is held in St Benet's Hall, which is in the churchyard behind the church, every 2nd and 5th Saturday of the month between 9am and 12 noon.
