For your first few lessons you will need to wear loose fitting track suit bottoms, a sweat shirt or similar, No hard or metal objects ie: jewellery or hair bands.
There is no need to wear a Judo suit to your first few lessons, for children it is an advantage not to wear one for two reasons:
- Whilst relatively cheap (from around 20) it is best to find out if your child likes the sport before going to the expense of buying a Judo suit.
- Children without a judo suit stand out to the instructor as a new member so can be given extra attention.
What Do Lessons Cost?
The lessons cost children 2.00 senior 3.00 per session.(first lesson free)

In comparison to many sports and pastimes judo is relatively inexpensive to take up. The only equipment you need is a judo suit (judo-gi) and these can be purchased fairly cheaply through the club. Training fees are only payable for sessions that you attend.
