North Walsham Countrysiders is a club for 10-16 year olds! We meet fortnightly at North Walsham Community Centre, 7-8:30pm. We offer 2 free meetings for new members and then it is only £3 per meeting after that and a £30 membership fee which covers insurance, resources, competitions and other various things for the whole year!
Countrysiders aims to increase education and understanding of the Countryside and farming practises amongst young people aged 10-16
This is achieved by
o farm visits
o stock judging
o presentations from Game keepers, RSPB and other wildlife organisations
o social activities such as kayaking, bowling and fun creative nights
o an annual Conservation Camp for up to 80 young people and giving practical experience in land/conservation management and hard work!
