Market Street, North Walsham.
(1908 to 1912 / North Walsham, Norfolk)
This postcard shows the western approach to the town about 1910. On the left is the branch store of the Norwich Co-operative Society which opened in 1906. The building was commandeered by the military in 1915 and burned down in 1916. Rebuilt and opened in 1921, it continued trading until 1983 when it was closed.
